Meet The Meerkats For Two In Hertfordshire
Begin your experience in the Discovery Centre with complimentary refreshments before meeting one of the team and being escorted to the Meerkat enclosure for your health and safety briefing. You will then have the opportunity to experience at close hand the social behaviour of these fascinating animals. They are extremely curious and friendly, so expect to be treated as a human climbing frame when you enter their enclosure. One of the park team remains on hand to assist and to help capture photographs on your camera. The package also includes a souvenir t-shirt and a presentation certificate each to take home.
Availability
Daily throughout the year at either 11.15am or 3.30pm.
Participant Guidelines
Participants must be aged 10 years or over. Under 16's must be accompanied by a voucher holding adult (i.e. aged 18 or over). The park is accessible so wheelchair users are very welcome.
Weather
Animals need to be cared for whatever the weather, so be assured your experience will always go ahead.
Duration
The experience lasts around 30 minutes.
Numbers On Day
This is a two to one experience with just the both of you and a park keeper.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome but will have to pay the standard entry fee to the park.
Dress Code
Wear old comfortable clothes.
Other Info
You are both welcome to arrive early and stay late to enjoy the other facilities within the park.
