Apache Rally Driving
This is arguably one of the most exciting driving experiences you can get! The Apache rally car has been designed to allow you to drive very fast whilst drifting sideways in complete safety. After a safety briefing you will be given a couple of demonstration laps by a professional instructor, just to show you how it's done. Then it's your turn to take the wheel to see if you can tame the Apache Rally car. Drifting in style is a skill that is incredibly rewarding, and it looks great too. With an instructor sitting beside you it is something you have every chance of mastering. Whilst being a very powerful piece of kit, the Apache is incredibly easy to drive and is easily adapted to dual control, therefore enabling non-drivers to have a go.
Availability
Saturdays and selected weekdays throughout the year.
Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 16. You don't need any previous experience. Hay fever sufferers please note: the pollen count round the course can get very high in summer.
Weather
The weather shouldn't affect this experience, but any cancellations are for your safety. Please call the venue if in any doubt. In adverse weather conditions the Apache may be substituted with an alternative motorised activity, or you will be re-booked.
Duration
Your one hour and a half experience includes at least 25 minutes driving.
Numbers On Day
A maximum of 4 people take part. At least two instructors are with the group at all times.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome and there are some catering facilities on site.
Dress Code
Dress for the outdoors with shoes suitable for driving. Wrap up warm if it's cold.
