First Drive
There's no need to wait to get your license before you can drive a car. Now you can discover the thrill of driving as you get behind a steering wheel for the first time in safe, controlled conditions.
An Approved Driving Instructor will show you the rudiments of driving and you'll gain confidence in open spaces and a relaxed atmosphere. This experience is all about helping young (and not so young!) learners to make the most of that crucial first drive – to learn more, to experience more and to have lots of fun too.

What happens on the day
You will be asked to sign a disclaimer form, participants under 18 need parental/guardian consent. After an initial safety briefing and some classroom instruction as part of a small group, you will be taken out to drive the car under the careful supervision of a qualified instructor. As a guideline, approximate driving time will be 20-40 minutes.

- Minimum height: 4'2" (127cms)
- Maximum height: 6’4” (193cms)
- Maximum weight: 18 stone (114kgs)
- You should be in reasonable health and able to climb in and out of the vehicle.
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue.
